Vilma-Sofia Kumpulainen has joined Mining Finland as Communications and Events Coordinator

She brings experience in communications, marketing, and event coordination across startups, the municipal sector, and international companies. Having lived and worked abroad, she offers an international perspective and strong cross-cultural understanding. Her background combines strategic communications expertise with hands-on event management, supporting visibility and stakeholder engagement.

In her role, Vilma-Sofia will help strengthen Mining Finland’s impact and international visibility while delivering high-quality member services. Her focus will be on strategic communications and the coordination of industry events that connect Finnish mining companies with global partners.
